Vermont's Maple Season

With Spring comes maple season in Vermont. Our sugarmakers are out tapping trees, hanging buckets or running tubing down to the sugar shack. They want to be ready for that first sap run of the season. Soon you'll be able to see steam billowing from the roof-top vents in sugarhouses across the state.

Here in Vermont we take our syrup seriously. We even celebrate with a Maple Open House Weekend and a yearly Maple Festival.
